Happy 2014!!!

It’s been a great year for us at UDC!!
We started off with the heritage workshops for school children in Pondicherry in February and followed that with a field visit to a waste management facility in March. After that we got our hands dirty with our first art installation in Goa at ‘The Goa Project’. The ‘Jane Jacobs Walks’ in May were fantastic! We also dabbled with academia with our first workshop on ‘Reading the Urban Environment’. October was our big event when we played local hosts to the ‘People Building Better Cities’ international travelling exhibition in Chennai. And we wrapped up the year by facilitating a working group to create a non-motorized network plan for Chennai. This was also the year of some great guest posts from our wonderful core team!

We couldn’t have asked for a better 2013 but we’re hoping 2014 will be even better! And that all of you will continue to be a part of our exciting journey! This is also the right moment to thank all of our amazing volunteers and well-wishers for the continued support. Here’s to great cities.. for one and all!!!
