001- Urban Design Word-a-day- Accessibility

We’re kickstarting this new year with the launch of a new project!
Starting today, every Monday-Friday we will be releasing an urban design word-of-the-day.
These releases are an incremental step towards the creation of a visual dictionary of urban design which we will be compiling into a publication at the end of 2014.

But here’s the juice.. we’re inviting sketches/ illustrations/ photos from ALL OF YOU that appropriately elucidate each word that we release. The best submission will go into the publication with full credits to YOU and that way you get to be a part of this UDC initiative! In true collective spirit!

Please mail in your submissions to info@urbandesigncollective.org with the word itself on the subject line.
Please note that if it’s not your own creation, do submit with proper credits/ source information.

That said, here is the first urban design word-of-the-day!
