You are probably aware that the Indo-German Urban Mela is currently on at Chennai after taking off in Mumbai and Bangalore earlier this year. The urban extravaganza is part of the celebrations titled “Germany and India 2011-2012: Infinite Opportunities” that commemorate 60 years of the establishment of Indo-German diplomatic ties. The Urban Mela is on from 24th August till 2nd September.

As a culmination of the series, there will be a workshop on urban intervention and participation on the 1st of September. And… drumroll…. I’m extremely delighted to tell you that Urban Design Collective has been asked to facilitate this workshop!!!!!!
